Q: How do I find out about the Harvard Club in my region?

A: Click here: http://post.harvard.edu/clubs/html/jsites.html or send an email to: clubs@harvard.edu

Q: How do I register for a post.harvard account?

A: To register for post.harvard, please visit www.post.harvard.edu. On the right side of the screen, click on the link that says "click here to register," which will take you directly to the registration page. Then:

Step 1 On the registration page, enter your name and class year and click the "find my record" button.

Step 2 You will be taken to a page which displays all names that match your search criteria. Select your name to continue the registration process.

Step 3 Enter your date of birth in mm/dd/yyyy format (e.g. 06/24/1974) in the provided box, and click "validate" to confirm your identity and complete the registration process.

Step 4 Once your identity has been confirmed, you will be prompted to select a username and password. You will need to use your username and password to log in to post.harvard any time you wish to access your account. Please bear in mind that your password is case-sensitive, so you will have to enter it with the same capitalization format every time you access the site.

You will also need to select a security question and provide an answer. This security question is used as verification so that we may retrieve your username and password if you forget them in the future.

Step 5 Finally, you will need to enter a valid email address, read and accept the terms and conditions, and click the "complete registration" button. Please note that you will not be able to register unless you accept the terms and conditions of use.

Once you have registered for post.harvard, you will be able to access the full features of the site. You will receive an email confirming your registration.

Q: What immunizations are required for travel to India?

A: Generally travelers are advised to receive their immunizations for hepatitis A & B, malaria, and typhoid. Other suggested immunizations may vary from season to season. Please refer to The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for more detailed information: http://www.cdc.gov/travel/indianrg.htm#vaccines

Q: What is the time difference between Cambridge, MA (EST) and New Delhi, India?

A: India is currently 10 hrs and 30 minutes ahead of EST. Please note that daylight savings time ends on Sunday, March 26, 2006, the second day of the HAA conference.

Q: What is the weather like in New Delhi in March?

A: The climate in India varies greatly but basically there are three seasons - hot, wet, and cool. March is the middle of the hot season when daytime temperatures are likely to reach 35-45°C (95-113°F).

Q: How do I obtain a visa to India?

A: The embassies and consulates of various countries are authorized to grant visas. Appropriate visa documentation must be presented to the embassy or consulate in proper order for the visa to be issued. For visa requirements, please contact the Indian embassy or consulate in your country.
